Cirrus Enclosed Track Conveyors

Enclosed track conveyor systems are commonplace in manufacturing, materials processing and warehousing operations.

Unlike their heavy-duty I-beam conveyor siblings, enclosed track systems utilize a chain that consists of vertical and horizontal guide bearings with steel side links. The chain assembly travels within a slotted, formed steel track.

Typical track components include straight sections, horizontal and vertical curve sections, chain installation gates and expansion track sections.

Depending on the particular style of system, product load centres vary from 6 to 8-inch centres and any combination thereof. Single point loads are typically from 50 to 125 pounds. Hanging from load bars over multiple chain pendants allow for heavier loads. All enclosed track systems can use multiple drives to move greater combined loads.

Cirrus provides parts and complete systems for high quality enclosed track conveyors. See the selection below.

Cirrus 800 Series

Cirrus 800 uses a 2-13/16 inch by 2-11/16 inch rectangular track. The chain assembly consists of vertical and horizontal bearings providing 8-inch multiple hanging centres with a maximum single point load of 125 pounds (57 kg). Heavier loads can be carried by suspending between two load bearings with a load bar attachment. Maximum chain pull for a single drive is 750 pounds (341 kg).

Richards Wilcox

Richards Wilcox systems are recognized by their thick, rectangular track. The chain assembly consists of vertical and horizontal bearings providing 6-inch multiple hanging centres at a maximum single point load of 75 pounds (34 kg). Heavier loads can be carried by suspending between two load bearings with a load bar attachment. This heavy-duty enclosed track system is capable of 750 pounds (341 kg) chain pull.
